Palestine Legal is thankful for...
/For the staff at Palestine Legal, Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on the past and present struggles of Native Americans, and all indigenous peoples whose histories have been, and continue to be, unwritten and rewritten at the hands of colonizers.
We are thankful for the many activists in the U.S. fighting to change the narrative of what Thanksgiving represents.
We are thankful for the steadfast organizers who are demanding systemic change despite relentless intimidation, harassment, and disingenuous calls for "dialogue," "civility" and "peace." From Students for Justice in Palestine to #BlackLivesMatter to immigrant and refugee rights activists – your resilience gives us hope for a more just future.
And we are thankful for all of you who support our work to provide legal resources to Palestine activists under attack. We couldn't continue without your commitment to protecting the voices demanding change.
