Palestine Legal sent a letter to state lawmakers on February 7 joined by eight organizations, including the Center for Constitutional Rights and the Council on American-Islamic Relations. If enacted, H.B. 1161 would unconstitutionally infringe on Virginians’ core political speech, in violation of the First Amendment.
