Anti-BDS Legislation in the U.S.: What You Need to Know
/Palestine Legal's new resource on anti-BDS legislation
Today, Palestine Legal published an overview of anti-BDS legislation in the United States. The new webpage, available here, explains the impact of legislation that has been introduced in legislatures around the U.S. aimed at countering the movement to boycott, divest from, and sanction (BDS) Israel. Palestine Legal also released an accompanying timeline summarizing the legislation.
It is important for Palestinian human rights activists in the U.S. to know that the right to engage in boycotts or to advocate for BDS is protected by the U.S. Constitution. None of the laws and resolutions described here infringe on your constitutionally-protected rights.
