New Name, New Look, New Staff!

Dear Friends,

We are thrilled to announce three big developments!

1.  We have officially changed our name to Palestine Legal!  Were you having trouble remembering our old name and acronym -- Palestine Solidarity Legal Support (PSLS)?  This should be easier!  Check out our new logo too.  We're the same organization, same team, just a shorter name. 

2.  To match our new name, we have launched a new and improved website at PalestineLegal.org!  Our new site provides easily accessible information about our work and resources to activists -- including our new, interactive Know Your Rights Handbook for Students.  We are so grateful to the wizards at Thoughtworks for building us the website of our dreams.  Thank you Hannah, Andy, Yakira, and Eliza!

Please take a few minutes to explore our new site and share it! We're still working out quirks so be sure to tell us what you think. Your feedback is important to us as we aim to create the best possible experience for our clients and supporters.

3.  We have welcomed on board the Palestine Legal team a new staff attorney, Rahul Saksena. Rahul brings a wealth of legal advocacy experience, a legislative and policy background, experience developing and implementing legal education workshops, organizing events, doing media outreach, building coalitions, and working with different communities to advocate for their rights. Rahul will be based in our Chicago office. See Rahul's bio here.
