HB 761 (Israel Support Act of 2019)
What it does:
Mississippi lawmakers introduced a bill in February 2019 that would create a state-sponsored blacklist of companies that boycott Israel and territories under its control and prevent the investment of state funds in a company on the list.
Similar bills were introduced and defeated in 2017 and 2018. The governor signed the bill into law in March 2019.

HB 837 proposed a state-created, publicly available blacklist of for-profit entities that boycott Israel, and would have required the state pension funds to divest from blacklisted entities. The bill also proposed prohibiting the state from contracting with companies that boycott Israel.
