In 2018, HB 569 was introduced in the Idaho legislature. If passed, the bill would create a blacklist of for-profit companies (including sole proprietorships) that boycott Israel, and would require the state to divest from those companies. The bill would also prohibit the state from entering into contracts with for-profit companies (including sole proprietorships) unless they certify in writing that they are not engaged in an boycott of Israel.
