In 2017, SB 513 was enacted in the Arkansas. This bill prohibits public entities from contracting with companies (defined to include organizations and associations) that boycott Israel. It also requires Arkansas to create a blacklist of companies that boycott Israel, and require public entities to divest from blacklisted companies. The Arkansas House and Senate passed this bill and delivered it to the governor for his signature on March 22, 2017. Governor Hutchinson signed it into law on March 29, 2017.
